FOOTBALL: FC KHALSA After a lay-off of 7 weeks, FC Khalsa returned with a home fixture against top of the table FC Dynamo at Judgemeadow Community College. Khalsa needed a run to lift them up the table for the second half of the season. Dynamo were given a scare before prevailing 3-2. The home fixture with Earl Shilton was ‘frozen off.' I couldn't help but notice Ravenstone finally got their first point of the season( they were on –2 previousl,) with a surprise 8-0 drubbing of Lutterworth Town on 27 February. A probably fancied Khalsa win brought a 2-1 reverse away at Dunton & Broughton Rangers and this was followed by a 6-0 home defeat by second placed Desford. Steve Billingham |
