JOINING THE FRIENDS OF EVINGTON PARK AND VILLAGE GREEN

The Friends of Evington Park and Village Green are looking for a few volunteers who would be willing to help and share the jobs. The group meets formally about every two months with Park Management and these meetings offer volunteers the opportunity of gaining a greater understanding of how Parks are managed and of being able to input into future Park plans. During the meeting volunteers will be needed to take the lead on roles within our committee sub groups, but there are other opportunities to become involved within the group. Subgroup roles will fluctuate, but could include publicity, fundraising, events and any identified special project. This year one special project is the work involved with the RHS ‘Its Your Neighbourhood' Awards.
