MAYFLOWER METHODIST CHURCH

A very Happy Easter to all Echo readers! We have observed Lent with services and a Lenten Cross, displaying symbols representing Love, Prayer, Woes, Riches, Prudence and the Kingdom of God. During Fairtrade Fortnight, Mayflower held a successful “Big Brew” to raise money and awareness for Traidcraft and Fairtrade. For information about our Pentecost service, Christian Aid Week and the United Service, see ‘Dates for Your Diary'. On Thursday May 13th, we celebrate Ascension Day when the Soar Valley Orchestra will lead us with their music. The annual May Fayre will be held on Saturday 8 May from 11-1 pm. All welcome to support this fund raising effort.
