WAITROSE MOVING

Dear Editor,

I must say that I agree with Sue Massey about the closure of Waitrose later this year. I've no idea where its customers will go. The next nearest supermarket is on Uppingham Road, which is a fair distance to have to go. There used to be a branch of Somerfield once on Evington Road called Solo. When Solo shut down it was replaced by an inferior shop. One hopes the same thing doesn't happen to Waitrose!
