THE INVISIBLE KILLER IN OUR CITIES

I write to raise awareness of two pollutants in our air.
(1) High levels of airborne particles emitted by mostly car exhausts and (2) Nitrogen dioxide.
These pollutants are a problem in over 100 cities in Britain, but particularly in London. The Government faces legal action from the EC as statistics show London to be the most polluted capital in Europe. It will be a huge embarrassment at the London Olympic Games in 2012 and could prove very expensive.
