The ecumenical group of 32 pilgrims from Humberstone Churches Together

As Chairman of Humberstone Churches Together, Fr Daley recently led this group of pilgrims to Rome. The group went on walking tours each day, visiting all the major sites. The highlight of the week was the Papal Audience in the Great Hall. Our group was specifically named and we duly received an acknowledgment from the Pontiff.

Back home, there was a Children's Mass on the Feast of All Saints. The children were joined by a 40 strong Leicester Zimbabwean Choir who performed their evocative traditional music and singing It is planned that in future the first Sunday of each month will be given over to the children.

The Watermead Shop is fully stocked with Christmas cards, cribs and inexpensive gifts. All profits from the shop are shared with the charities we work with – here at home, as well as nationally and internationally; opening hours are Tue, Wed, Thurs 10.30am – 3.30pm; Sat 5.00pm – 5.50pm; Sun 11.45am – 12.45pm. Entrance is via the Church car park.
