WEAVER'S WONDER Phil Weaver, owner of King Henry's Taverns has acquired the freehold of The Cedars in Evington, previously he was a tenant. Phil said, “It is a lot cheaper to buy premises than to rent, so now we can pass on more savings to our customers.” At the Cedars there are newly refurbished seats in the restaurant, the garden has been tidied up and you can pick up a Christmas menu. Regular events are as follows: Tuesdays - Free pool from 8.00pm Also in Cedar's car park you can use the recycling banks for plastic bottles, mixed glass and tins and cans. Also there is a bank for unwanted clothes and shoes that will be sent to Africa.
