AIR QUALITY Dear Editor, I am writing in response to Michael Bolton's letter, in edition 221, with regards to ‘The Invisible Killer'. I would like to draw Mr Bolton's attention to the number of cities that are in Britain not ‘being over 100'. There are only 66 designated cities in Britain. I would to also like to draw Mr Bolton's attention to the Beijing Olympic Games, 2009, and the poor quality of air in the city. The city was plagued with smog and no car days were put in place to try and improve the air quality. The IOC and WHO were both concerned about Beijing's air quality in the years before the games; neither of these organisations are worried about the air quality for the London Games in 2012.
