CROCUS SUNDAYS 11am-4pm Entrance free, Welcome spring with us!
Signs of spring are emerging at the University Botanic Garden as early as February. Although the garden is usually closed to the public at weekends in the winter, we are celebrating these first flowers with a special event so more people can enjoy them.
On these two Sundays, you can see the impressive display of Crocus in the sandstone garden and other early spring-flowering plants, including the collection in the alpine greenhouse. Refreshments will be available in Beaumont Hall, one of the lovely Edwardian houses in the garden.
These events are organised by the Friends of the Botanic Garden, with LOROS and Rainbows. Contact: Richard Gornall, 0116 271 2933 |
