TAI CHI – A GREAT WAY TO RELAX AND UNWIND

Come and join a group learning the Yang Style 24 Tai Chi Form. This Chinese exercise has become very popular because of the health benefits that can be gained by regular practice. Tai Chi improves balance, posture and body awareness through slow, flowing and thoughtful movements. The calm feelings induced reduce stress, stimulate the flow of energy around the body, improve health and co-ordination and encourage a feeling of well-being.

Student Gillian Foreman says, “This class is a great way to relax and unwind and the benefits can be felt immediately and you don't need any equipment or fancy uniform to get going.”

The class is taught by Laraine Tucker at the Mayflower Methodist Church Hall, Ethel Road on Thursday mornings 10am - 12 noon
