EVINGTON IN BLOOM 2012 Friends of Evington (FofE) are running the Evington in Bloom 2012 campaign through a subgroup called ‘Evington in Bloom’ which consists of representatives from the local groups that are contributing on their own patch. The scheme is being co-ordinated by Helen Pettman who is supported by community gardeners and local people who attend the regular ‘In Bloom’ meetings. For this ‘In Bloom’ project, the group have been well supported by our Evington councillors. On Wednesday 14th March at 3.30pm, at Evington library we are launching our campaign for Evington in Bloom. We will be digging out a bed in front of the library and would like to raise some money towards the cost of planters and plants. All ages welcome and refreshments provided. Please come and support us, bring a plant for the newly dug library flower bed and meet the team.
