LEICESTERSHIRE VEGETARIAN/VEGAN GROUP In an age when meat prices are rising and cases of disease or illness being spread by meat, many people are turning to reducing their meat intake and even giving up meat together. Now for someone who has recently become a Vegetarian (or even Vegan), the world can suddenly become a daunting place, being surrounded by meat eaters. However, there is a group out there dedicated to promoting Vegetarianism and Veganism that could be of great assistance. Due to the largely diverse ethnic community within and around Evington, this group may be of particular interest to parts of the community. The Leicestershire Vegetarian/Vegan group is a volunteer run organisation that meets on the first Thursday of each month to exchange ideas, invite guest speakers and to promote a cruelty free life. |
