THE LEICESTERSHIRE SPEAKERS

Our Annual General Meeting is NOT boring! After speeding the business, the majority of the evening was spent listening to light-hearted anecdotes from our members. Were they true or false?

The range of stories varied from the origin of chewing gum dating back to Neolithic times (TRUE), through to the case of the six dozen disappearing sausage rolls. Andrea Benson shared with us her experience of the hazards of acting with children and animals.

Leicestershire Speakers meet on the second Wednesday of every month at the Drop-In Centre in Blaby, and guests are always welcome.

Our speakers are also available to give entertainment and talks to other societies and clubs.
