‘Love Parks Week' is from Saturday 25th July to Sunday 2nd August and your local Park Services team together with the Friends of Evington Park and Village Green say:

JOIN OUR CAMPAIGN FOR CONTINUED INVESTMENT AND SUPPORT FOR PARKS AND OPEN SPACES!

Come along to Evington Park on Sunday 26th July and enjoy the Fleckney Silver Band.
Keep up to date with what's going on – Check the Noticeboard in the Park and in Evington House.

Become a member of ‘the Friends'. Pick up a leaflet at Bennetts' Home and Garden Supplies, Main St., Evington or come along to ‘the Friends' stand at Evington Fete and Show on 8th August 2009, on the Village Green, 12 noon – 5pm.

Parks play an important role for local communities, bringing people together and providing a much-needed breathing space in built up areas. This year extra grants obtained by LCC Councillors and ‘the Friends of Evington Park' have enabled residents to enjoy a new play area and improvements to a garden area. You will also have noticed that the Evington Park's team have made a lot of improvements to the planting and seating throughout our local park and have continued with an excellent programme of maintenance. This would not be possible if there were further cut backs.
