FURTHER TREE MAINTENANCE ON LINDEN DRIVE

A further 6 Linden trees, lining the pavements on Linden Drive, have been identified as having severe fungal attack and are being removed. As they are approaching 100 years old, they have well stood the test of time.

The City Council's Arboricultural Officer has advised that the removed trees will be replaced with new Lindens bred to resist such diseases that are causing the current problem, so the pleasant character of the road will be maintained.
