LEICESTER'S YOUNG NET £8,500 FOR MALARIA! In April 2010, Leicester's Interfaith Youth Hub, which is based at St. Philip's Centre, raised over £8,500, as part of World Malaria Day. Young people, aged between 16 and 25, planned and ran Leicester's first ever Multifaith Dinner in aid of Malaria relief. The money purchased bed nets. A £5 bed net protects an African family for up to five years. To join this group, access Facebook's ‘Leicester Interfaith Youth Hub'. |
