EVINGTON VILLAGE FETE AND SHOW ATTRACTIONS FOR 2010

FETE WILL BE ON THE VILLAGE GREEN, EVINGTON VILLAGE ON 7th AUGUST FROM 12 NOON TO 5PM

You will find the Fete and Show brochures in the usual local outlets.

This Fete and Show aims to involve the whole community and invites you to enter the show, which acts as a celebration of people's horticultural, craft and artistic talents. In the brochure you will see that there is an even wider range of classes this year.

Volunteers to help as stewards on the day are always very welcome, so if you would like to help on 7th August, please contact Ben Sherriff on 241 7016.

The main features on the day include: The Show marquee, many and varied stalls, rural crafts, children's activities, and ‘Arena' area events. There are displays in Evington Chapel and St. Denys Church and refreshments in the Village Hall.

The Scarecrow competition is a new class for this year. Please could you encourage any family, group, business to enter and join in the fun.

If you have any tombola items, please take them to Steph and Hannah at the Post Office. The Fete book stall will be raising money for enhancing an aspect of Evington Village.
