Sue Massey has been writing articles for the Echo for many years and also helps with the editing. Recently she was featured in the television programme, ‘Come Dine With Me', so we now have our own celebrity chef. Sue didn't actually apply to go on. A programme researcher trawling for candidates phoned the office where Sue works and before she realised it, she was being interviewed for the programme.  Next came the screen test at home and Sue thought she'd never hear anything further. It was filmed on Bank Holiday Monday in 2008 and has just been broadcast on Channel 4.  “It was exhausting but great fun. I'm officially the worst cook in Leicester!” said Sue.
