CYCLE SESSIONS The cycle sessions at Evington Park and Linden School were a great success this summer. Mohad Chohan achieved his ambition of learning to ride a bike. Oliver Mysner's mum and dad were so inspired by Oliver's enthusiasm for cycling that they dusted the cobwebs off their old bikes and joined in. On one of the wet days, Hanad and Anas tried to convince me it was only drizzling. I watched from the shelter of the bike sheds as they got drenched! They returned on a sunny day to take up from where we left off. Emilia honed her already well established cycling skills, while her young brother Marek came on leaps and bounds. Brothers Tom and Harry enjoyed setting new challenges. Thanks to Keelan who popped along with his bmx and showed us a few fancy moves and tricks to try out! Cycle skills sessions will take place during the half-term break on Thursday 22 October. For further details or if you would like on-road training please telephone 241 6216. In the meantime, don't forget be seen on your bike as the nights draw in. Make sure you have lights on the front and back of your bike and wear reflecting clothing.
