About the Evington Echo

We are a free community newspaper for the Evington area.
(Evington used to be a small village on the outskirts of Leicester, but is now part of the City.)
Our paper is run entirely by volunteers and aims to provide a platform for local news and opinions
and promote local community groups and events.  

We print over 5,800 copies each month.
By recording Evington events, our paper becomes a valuable historical record for the area.
If you live outside the area, then you can buy a current copy of the Evington Echo for 25p from Evington Post Office
or from Bennett's Home and Garden Supplies, Main Street, Evington.

Our paper also offers useful information to local consumers about businesses in the area.
