JUDGEMEADOW FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE LAUNCHES THE STEVE WALSH AND MUZZY IZZET SOCCER ACADEMY DURING THE EASTER HOLIDAY

Why not get active this Easter! There's loads going on in Evington, so there's no excuse.

Judgemeadow Football Development Centre is launching the Steve Walsh & Muzzy Izzet Soccer Academy . Steve and Muzzy played for Leicester City Football Club and they're passing on their professional skills to youngsters during the Easter half-term break.

It's a brilliant opportunity for girls and boys aged from 5 -16 years to get their football kit on and have some fun while learning to perfect their football skills. It doesn't matter if you don't think you're much good at football because all abilities are welcome.

Steve and Muzzy will be supported by fully qualified and experienced football coaches.

There are two courses; the first course will run for four days from Monday 6 to Thursday 9 April and the second from Tuesday 14 to Friday 17 April. Each day starts at 1000 hrs and finishes at 1500 hrs. The cost for the week is £50. Five to seven year olds have a half-day option at a cost of £25 for the week.

The facilities at Judgemeadow are great. There's a floodlit Rubber Crumb pitch, 16 grass pitches, changing rooms, a medical suite and refreshments.

Sam McMahon, Football Development Officer at Judgemeadow, is really excited about the launch of the Steve Walsh & Muzzy Izzet Soccer Academy . “It's a great opportunity for youngsters. We've organised further courses during the May half-term break, with plans for summer camps during July and August. The summer camps will coincide with the opening of the new school, and the new sports facilities will be amazing!”

Steve and Muzzy are looking forward to meeting youngsters at their Soccer Academy . “We're giving something back to the sport that has given us such great opportunities,” says Steve.
