MAYFLOWER METHODIST CHURCH

Following our year of celebration of 50 years of Mayflower, we have continued with a full programme. We've joined with St. Philip's with their celebrations, held our annual Covenant Service and enjoyed a beautiful solo of John Rutter's arrangement of ‘The Lord bless thee and keep thee' at a special baptism service. We've held special services in Lent on the themes of temptation, conflict, suffering and transfiguration and we've joined with other Evington Churches. We marked Fairtrade fortnight with a display, coffee morning and sale and, like Whitehall Primary School (see front cover), we ate our Fairtrade bananas!
