Outdoor Exercise Equipment in Evington Park

Get fit in Evington Park! Ten pieces of fitness equipment are to be installed in the park. The apparatus will give a complete body workout and will be accesible to all, for free.

The new equipment will be silver and black, durable, and designed for safe and easy use. The Friends of Evington Park and Village Green applied for funding from Community Spaces, Big Lottery Fund. It is their partnership with Park Services that has enabled this project to succeed. The installation is scheduled to be completed mid-October.

The park will be organising circuit sessions and instructors will be on hand to train members of the public how to use the equipment. Leaflets will be available.

As well as the new fitness equipment the site will benefit from two new benches, a landscape feature shrub bed and eight trees.
