EVINGTON PRE-SCHOOL CLOSES

Jean Matthews has been the owner/manager of Evington Pre-School for the last 35 years and she hasn't had a day off sick. Sadly, after 35 years, the Pre-School has closed because the Youth Centre building (near the Village Hall) is being demolished.

Jean said, “I have loved this job and the rewards of watching young people grow and develop.” There have been lots of messages of thanks from parents for the wonderful start the pre-school has given their children. Jean has donated many pieces of equipment and toys to charity and to the Judgemeadow Toddler Group.
