GROW AND THRIVE IT’S YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD GROUP

Evington Bicycle Club Looks Ahead to 2018

  Evington Bicycle Club is planning for the future. 2017 saw an increase in membership and the club is to consult on plans for 2018 at a committee meeting, after the season’s end, in October. BICYCLES FOR ASYLUM SEEKERS – EVINGTON

BICYCLES FOR ASYLUM SEEKERS We are looking for volunteers to help us repair some bicycles for use by asylum seekers. We currently have some donated bikes stored at GraceWorks, The Common, Evington ready to be renovated. JOIN TCV AND EVINGTON IN BLOOM FOR A DAY ON THE ALLOTMENTS

Through a Friends of Evington application, Evington in Bloom were delighted to receive a £9,985 grant from the National Lottery (Awards for All).  The money will purchase a community cabin, a metal toolshed and professionally run gardening courses on the Rowlatts Hill Allotments, Blakenhall Road, off Coleman Road.
