WHY NOT COME TO CUBS OR BEAVERS?

Are your children at a loose end after school? Would they like to join a group of friendly children for games, crafts and earning badges? Beavers (6 years +), Cubs (8 years +) and Scouts (from 10.5 years) are open to both boys and girls. The children take part in supervised activities, sports, games and challenges of all sorts, go on trips and even camping overnight! My children attend the 19th Beavers and Cubs on Davenport Road , where recent activities have included a Road Safety night, a Fitness challenge, a Healthy Eating night which involved making smoothies and fruit kebabs, and a not-so-healthy Chocolate night! Other themed nights included Halloween and a very popular Pirates Night held with another local Beavers colony. The older Cubs have been on a Ghost Walk and are currently working towards their Home Help badge which includes cooking a full meal, sewing and cleaning, and will soon be embarking on their Astronomy badge. Lots to keep them busy!
