National charity Epilepsy Action runs a coffee and chat group to support people living with epilepsy in Evington and the surrounding area. The group meets on the second Monday of each month from 2-4pm at Mercure Leicester The Grand Hotel, Granby Street, Leicester.
The group gives people affected by epilepsy and their families a chance to meet other people living with the condition, in an informal setting.
One person in every 100 is affected by epilepsy in the UK. This means that around 6,400 people in Leicestershire are currently living with the condition.
