Evington Bicycle Club Looks Ahead to 2018

Evington Bicycle Club is planning for the future. 2017 saw an increase in membership and the club is to consult on plans for 2018 at a committee meeting, after the season’s end, in October.

In 2017 the club welcomed Leicester Wheels for All, b-buddies and  Ride Leicester Festival (open gallery) to its regular Monday club meetings.    Most of the club’s members are children but we also started offering adult cycle training.  Over 100 children have registered with us.  In July and August we regularly had more than 25 children at our club meetings in front of Evington Park House.

When the season ends there will be an opportunity to meet our team, hear about what we did in 2017 and for you to let us know what you would like us to do in 2018.

We had some great evenings in the park  –  here are just some of them.

Leicester Wheels for All visited the club in April

Ride Leicester Festival came to the club on 21 August,

We worked with Leicester City Council on road layout proposals for Leicester Station.

We started offering adult cycle training
