Evington Bicycle Club – Programme for 2017

A b.buddues session in full swing at Soar Valley Leisure Centre

Evington Bicycle Club has a great programme lined up for local people who want to start cycling or to cycle more often.   Most of our participants are children but we have a core of adults who learned to ride at our Monday evening sessions. Please come along to our Annual General Meeting on the evening of Monday April 10th. This will be a great opportunity to meet our team, hear about what we did in 2016, and for you to let us know what you would like us to do in 2017.

Date for your diary – On 8 May we are teaming up with b.buddies a group based in Barrow that specialises in providing balance bikes for young children.  The session starts at 17:30 – please book early to avoid disappointment. There will be eight balance bikes for use that evening.   Evington Bicycle Club is providing this opportunity at no charge to our members.   Here is a link to a picture of a fabulous b.buddies session – with road crossings and layout.  The children love it!  .

We had some great evenings in the park last year – here are some pictures.

The evening when the Evington Police Force dropped by to show off their cycling skills.

We set up training circuits - this one involved a human traffic light!. "What does red mean?!"
