STARS

Stars is a new performing arts school run by Su Tucker. The meetings are held from 2 – 4.30 every Saturday afternoon at Mayflower Church Hall.

Su's inspiration for Stars was when she met Sue Stevenson. Sue Stevenson founded a charity, ‘Paul Stevenson', which raises money for Macmillan nurses. The charity is named after Sue's son who died of cancer.

“This was the motivation I needed to help me fulfil my dreams and potential. As a performing arts teacher I want to help students to become stronger and more versatile, so setting up this school has enabled me to do what I love, and also support a very special cause.”

Stars launched on 24th January and rehearsals are now underway for their first project, an event to be showcased at Highcross.
