GENERAL HOSPITAL, EVINGTON. DONATIONS NEEDED FOR STAFF. CONTRIBUTE AT WHITEHALL SCHOOL.
Wondering if anyone would be able to donate something to help the hard-working nurses, doctors and other staff at the General, on the frontline, struggling to keep things together in these awful times – something to give them a boost or a welcome treat, or desperately needed supplies…
Outside Whitehall Primary school there will be a collection box for anyone to drop off donations such as:
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits
Disposable gloves, cups, pens
Hand soap, hand cream ( their hands are getting really dry)
Antibacterial products, hand sanitiser
Chocolate and other treats
Hair care products, shower gel
And anything else that you think would help or make them feel appreciated!
They are also desperately in need of camp beds… ( you never know someone might have a spare one!)
The box will be outside Whitehall’s main entrance, accessible any time the front gates are open – 8-5 ish from the Tuesday after Easter – please don’t make a special trip but if you happen to be passing.
I saw a Facebook post from a nurse friend who works at the General bemoaning the state of her hair, having to wash it after every shift – next day a friend donated whole box of hair pampering treats for the nurses! They were ecstatic! Let’s show them they are appreciated!
Thank you if you are able to donate anything.
