EVINGTON HILL LADIES CLUB

The speaker for our March meeting was Theresa Thornton.

Theresa has a background of over 20 years in nursing and is now a Life Coach. She helps individuals build up their confidence and positive thinking. She stresses that well being depends on attitude and that health and happiness are closely linked.

Happiness was a strong theme of her talk, which covered her work with adolescents, anorexics and bullied school children. She found that ‘self belief’ was often lacking in them.

Our usual raffle, followed by tea and coffee completed an interesting evening.

Our next meeting on 16th April will feature aspects of the 2nd World War when Mike Coleman will talk to us on ‘The Secret Listeners of Beaumanor and Bletchley Park’ Visitors are always welcome. Entrance is £1.50.
