A WORD FROM THE LOCAL NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICE

I have now been the principle beat officer for Evington and Goodwood for the last 6 weeks. During this time I have met lots of residents and would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome I have received. Myself and PCSO Georgina Cook will be holding a beat surgery on Thursday 19th June between 6-8pm at Wycliffe Church, The Common. (This is the road by Evington Library). I would urge anyone with any issues, concerns or queries to drop in for a chat. If you are unable to attend this surgery, please do not hesitate to contact me directly and we can arrange a meeting. Priority areas for Evington are:

•  To tackle illegal drug dealing in the area of Main Street, Evington and surrounding streets.

•  To tackle illegal drug activity in the area of Delaware Road and surrounding street.

•  To resolve issues relating to young people in vehicles congregating in residential street within the neighbourhood, namely Evington Lane, Susan Avenue and Downing Drive.
