| KENNETH WITTS Ken Witts died on 21st April aged 80, at his home in Bristol. He had suffered a long illness, which was bravely borne. For over 30 years, Ken lived and worked in Evington. He was Head of Geography at the City of Leicester School and also in charge of the library. He was a very highly respected teacher. Although nick-named ‘Killer Ken' because of his reputation as a disciplinarian, he was always popular and staff and children appreciated his cheerful, lively manner and his good, cheeky sense of humour. |
