KNITTED JUMPERS GO TO AFRICA

In response to my appeal in the Evington Echo, I was delighted to find a local resident who has taken 200 knitted jumpers and 5 blankets to Reading.

Our knitting group supports ‘Feed the Children', a national organisation that helps children in Uganda and Kenya.  We have had an appeal from FTC for plain school jumpers for children aged from 6  to 14 years. The children take great pride in their uniforms.

If anyone has any double knitting wool, it would be appreciated.
