The Transition Towns is a grass roots organisation that is growing rapidly in the UK and around the world. There are two main goals for our local group.

To reduce Leicester's carbon emissions

To improve Leicester's resilience, so that we can provide core needs like food, energy, entertainment and transportation, even if prices of fossil fuels substantially increase.

The other vision of Leicester is of a vibrant, abundant, wonderful community in which to live.
