ST PHILIP'S CHURCH CENTENARY

On June 5th 1909 the foundation stone of St Philip's was laid and dedicated.

The centenary committee is planning a programme of events to celebrate the 100 years, starting on 4th January 2009, to continue throughout the year.

During the year there will be an exhibition of the history of the church & church buildings. The archivist would be grateful for any items, pictures, anecdotes, etc. pertaining to the personalities, church, church groups and activities and also the many changes which have happened in the area during these years.
