‘CASTLE' PLAY EQUIPMENT IN EVINGTON PARK

Dear Editor,

I have heard that there is a strong possibility that the wooden ‘castle' play equipment in Evington Park is to be removed because it has reached its end of life.

As a grandmother living in the area, I take my grandchildren regularly to the park and they love playing on the castle. I thought that the recent refurbishment was going to prolong its life for a few more years yet.

I hope that if it does have to be removed then at least an equivalent piece of equipment will replace it.
