A WORD FROM THE LOCAL NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICE

Since the last edition of the Evington Echo the paper is now being circulated to all householders in the Goodwood area too. As the Principal Beat Officer for Evington and Goodwood, I am keen for anybody living within these areas to contact me with any issues of concern.

Over the months of August and September I am pleased to say that there has been an overall reduction in some of our more serious crime areas with no reported robberies or sexual offences, and only 4 burglaries to dwellings. These figures are in relation to both the Goodwood and Evington area.

The neighbourhood team will be holding a number of beat surgeries over the coming months at Wycliffe Church . I would urge anyone with any issues, concerns or queries to drop in for a chat.
