MUSIC, STRAWBERRIES AND FUN AT THE VICARAGE GARDEN PARTY

This summer's Garden Party was enjoyed by more people than usual and raised just under £1500. This will be shared by the Gideons, The British Dyslexia Association and our Church Missionary Society partners, Allan and Anne Lacey. Entertainment was provided by the Leicester Grammar Junior School choir and Sally Hossack, singing with her guitar - Leicester 's answer to Joni Mitchell!

Delicious teas, with cream specially acquired from Devon , complemented with a strawberry, proved an irresistible attraction. Plants and White Elephant, books and cards, together with five guest stalls from the community, all provided a great range to buy at bargain prices.
