What took 18 years to construct, cost £3 million, weighs 170 tons and is at present being constructed at Loughborough? The answer: A Steam Train.

Over 80 people enjoyed a quiz evening in Evington Village Hall on 13th September. The winners were a group of people from Stoughton calling themselves ‘The Stoughton Seven'. This was a fundraising event for the Village Preschool and it raised £305 which will go towards paying the running costs for the old Youth Centre building, next to the Village Hall, where the Preschool now meet.
